…afraid, yes, but among you again
crying yes risk joy
in the raw wind of the new world.
from Louise Gluck, “Snowdrops”
Who, what, why?
I am an artist. I am perceptive and curious and I have compact little hands that can make a lot of different things.
I constantly collect information through very sensitive antennae and therefore, I take a lot of naps. Please do not tap the glass because it scares the animal.
Maps have fascinated me ever since I paged through them in the back of the minivan on road trips. So many ways to get to the same place! So much data to file away!
It’s been a hell of a (few) year(s), for all of us, but in my universe, where I am the sun and all galaxies into infinity 4eva, there’s been a seismic shift that knocked me right off what I thought was my course.
So this is where I’ll share some words and images about what I noticed in the rumblings, and the fallout, and in the current re-creation.
Let’s see where we end up.
