Soundtrack: Bologna
This is what I was listening to getting ready for the days in my beautiful Bologna apartment that was full of treasures from around the world and books in different languages, and had a serene view over the red tile rooftops. I started to get inspired in Bologna by the people I was seeing, instead of intimidated like in Milan. The city is small and manageable on foot, so I felt I knew it pretty quickly and started to walk more confidently, doing the Italian slow roll instead of rushing like my anxiety and fear brain would tell me to, to look like “I knew what I was doing” and therefore was imperviable to all harm.
Also please imagine that Joni didn’t remove her catalog from Spotify and “Free Man In Paris” was her version.
